Blac Chyna’s seesaw relationship with Rob and the Kardashian family is getting a little ridiculous. Seriously! Rob is suing Chyna, Chyna is suing Rob, the entire Kardashian family is suing Blac Chyna and now she’s suing the entire Kardashian family. Everybody is suing everybody.
In Chyna’s new lawsuit, she accuses the Kardashian family of “slut-shaming” her and bullying on social media after her breakup with Rob — which she says caused her to lose her E! reality show.
Chyna claims Rob & Chyna had “stellar” ratings and believed the show was going to be picked up for a second season despite the couple splitting up. However, E! sources told TMZ that since the couple split at the beginning of the show’s first season, a second was doubtful from the beginning.
Although, Chyna’s attorney sees things differently, saying the “famous family was flexing their muscles so as to destroy Ms. White’s (Chyna’s) career so that she was no longer able to compete against the Kardashian-Jenner women as an entrepreneur and social media influencer.”
As for the Kardashian family, they said they are not surprised by Chyna’s lawsuit. But they were surprised the entire family was named.
“They knew it was coming,” an inside source told PEOPLE. “They didn’t know that everyone in the family would be named in the suit, but it’s still not shocking news,” says the source. “This is how they know Chyna — she is dramatic and will do everything to still be attached to the Kardashian name.”
So far E! has not released an official statement on Chyna’s lawsuit, which also claims defamation and interference with contractual relations. However, a source connected to the network told TMZ said the reason the show was not picked up for a second season was because of Chyna.
According to the source, Chyna refused to be in the same room as Rob so there would be no plausible way to shoot another season.
Either way, Chyna will have to prove to a judge that the Kardashian’s bullied her on social media which in turn led to the cancellation of her show. In a defamation case, the plaintiff must prove four elements:
1. The statement was false.
2. The victim was injured by the statement.
3. The statement was made to a third person or lots of people.
4. The defamatory statement was not confidential.
So she will have her work cut out for her. As of right now, it doesn’t seem like Blac Chyna has much of a case. In my opinion, they should just drop all of these lawsuits and focus on their lives.
